Sandhan valley also known as Valley of shadow or Valley of suspense as the sun rays don’t reach to gorge. It is the canyon in Sahyadri mountain. The Valley is beautiful but rocky and rugged beauty and makes great spot for Adventure lovers, not only for trekking but also for Cliff camping, rappel , rock climb and enjoy bonfire with camping  under sky. The valley is stretched as 1.5km long and 200ft deep.

Valley is located near Bhandarkar near Igatpuri. The trekking start from Samard village which also works as the base village of the trekking tour. After reaching to the village have lunch and then start your adventure activities, to reach for camping first you have to rappel down one patch with the help of the rope and when you climbed down the second patch there is flat surface suitable for campaign and can also experience start gazing  (one can also book Cliff camping for night).





Best time for trek in sandhan valley is in winter or autumn and more enjoyable in monsoon avoid trekking in summer because it can get very hot and humid.There are many trekking packages available starting from 1,600 till 3,500 which involves (adventure activity , meals and transport).

India's first underwater museum   India is Constructing its first underwater museum  in Pondicherry .  Conceived by the Indian Navy to support tourism, INS Cuddalore, the decomposed ship, will be sunk in the ocean at a distance of 7km from the Pondicherry shore. With the establishment of this underwater museum in Pondicherry . One can enjoy water actives such as Snorkeling and Scuba diving. The 60-metre-long and 12-metre-wide vessel will be a destination for scuba diving and snorkeling. There will be trails and routes for divers to swim in and out of the ship as they watch a colorful marine ecosystem grow. “Once the marine organisms start coming in, there will be life forms at different levels in the water for tourists to see,” Banerjee said .

Abu Simbel

  ABU SIMBEL Abu Simbel is an ancient temple carved out of sandstone cliff which built during the reign of Egyptian king Ramesse II. It has set an iconic example of ancient Egyptian art located near southern Egypt near Nile river. The temple were unknown to the outside world until their rediscovery in 1813 by the swiss researcher Johann Ludwig Burckhardt and first explored by Egyptologist Giovanni Battista Belzoni in 1817 The seated figures of Ramasee are 66 feet. His wife and childrens can be seen in small figures by his feet.  The temple itself dedicated to sun god Amon re and Re Horakhte.  consist of three consecutive halls extending 185 feet into the cliff.
