Red Beach

Beach is commonly surrounded by Brown- Black Sand with Greenery! But this is not the case with Red beach of Panjin, located in China’s Liaoning province approximately a six-hour drive from Beijing, is home to the stunning Red Beach.

Seepweed is one of the few species of plant that can live in highly alkaline soil. There are around 100 varieties of seepweed, which grows on tidal wetlands, around the world. But these plants are also called Suaeda are rarely red. The seepweed growing in Panjin is a unique specie .Its growth cycle starts in April when it is colored light red, while the color of the mature species is deep red.

The best time to see the beautiful beach is in October. If you go too early, the seepweed will not be as red, and if you go too late, they may have died off for the year.
