People travel around the World to explore and enjoy new places or to meet new people but there are few who travel only to learn the history of particular places. Museums are one of the best ways to achieve intelligence about the worlds historic creations.

The Mdina Dungeons Museum (Dark tourism ) is a vivid and harrowing account of medieval events in Malta. These very underground passageways, chambers and cells ,a number of torturous scenes are recreated that would scare you to your bones. The sound effects of people screaming and crying in the dungeons are spot on to create the horrors of the past If you are someone who loves visiting strange places, then The Mdina Dungeons Museum is the place for you.

The Mdina Dungeons Museum is located beneath the Magisterial Vilhena Palace just inside the main entrance gate to Mdina (Malta).

From Roman times to the Arabs, the Knights and even Napoleon, you will find episodes and characters from the ancient past portrayed in startling realism, revealing stories sometimes too dramatic to be believed. Whilst you wander at your own pace, you will discover at every turn Drama, Mystery and even Horror from dark forgotten days in an atmosphere of an authentic Medieval Dungeon.
