 Pamukkale Lake 


Pamukkale lake located in Denizil , Southwest of Turkey. Pamukkale means Cotton Castle in Turkish language. Very hot springs with a very high mineral content arose at this location. Apart from the slightly radioactive minerals, the calcium and hydrogen carbonate reacts to create calcium carbonate and limestone. This is what gives Pamukkale its whiteness and created the pools.Take a dip in the mineral-rich waters of Pamukkale Thermal Pools, it is considered as World Heritage Site, with terraces and hot springs that have retained their beauty over millennia. 










In this area, there are 17 hot springs and also well-preserved Roman ruins and a museum on site. A small footpath runs up the mountain face for visitors to use. 

Pamukkale lake was also a part of Some famous Bollywood Movie Songs 

(Tu Jane na- Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani) and (Konjam Neram - Chandramukhi) from there it got popular among Indians.
